Standard Type II Boxes for Overseas Shipments
Our main production consists of Standard Type II boxes (5.8 m3, 205 cft) as specified by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of State (DOS). These overflow boxes are fabricated under license 'SDDC - 215B' and are especially designed for overseas shipments. As such, the boxes have outside measurements to fit in a standard sea container. One 40ft container can be filled with 10 of these Type II boxes.
Plywood Boxes – Our Aim is Quality
Our boxes are:
- made out of waterproof plywood of 9, 12 or 18 mm (3/8", 1/2" or 3/4").
- nailed and not stapled
- made out of 'heat treated' wood in accordance to the ISPM 15 specifications
- branded with our IPPC number: BE 55.637 HT-DB.
We build our crates to be durable, to withstand repeated shipping and handling under all but the most extreme weather conditions. Our crates are constructed with plywood and have a heat-treated wooden frame. Our custom crates are suitable for both shipping and storage of your valuables.
